David Knopfler
At the end of the 1970s David Knopfler together with his brother Mark Knopfler
founded the rock group Dire Straits and over the years achieved stardom and success throughout the world. Since then their names embodied all what top quality music represents. After leaving the Dire Straits, David Knopfler started his career as singer-songwriter and released his own compositions on several albums.

On his records one can listen to many top-class guest musicians. In the studio David Knopfler worked with stars like Chris Rea, vocalist Jule Neigel (“Tears Fall“), Eddie Reader and the former Dire Straits stars Chris White (saxophone), Alan Clarke (keyboards) and Phil Plamer (guitar). Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey makes an appearance as mixing engineer on several tracks on thealbum „Wishbones“(2002). “Songs For The Siren”, DAVID's latest album, co-produced with Tony Carey (ex-Peter Maffay, ex-Ritchie Blackmore´s Rainbow), utilises the help of a select collection of musicians once again, including his long time guitarist Harry Bogdanovs.
